Just for Today

Nothing is wrong,

Nothing is wrong,

but everything is wrong.

I’m not even going through the motions today.

I know what it is…

I am better for awhile and then I am not again.

Time is narrowed to a moment at a time.

I won’t give in to it, the darkness, the monster.

Tomorrow is family and love.

I will be there to soak in it and reach the light again.
